Effective Logo Design

Including a design element in your logo that communicates your product or service will probably increase the effectiveness of your logo.  The trailer shown here is a good example.  The name "Chelsea Hearth And Fireplaces" together with the flame graphic clearly communicate what this business is about.  This is called a descriptive logo.  Descriptive logos usually do a better job of marketing your business than non-descriptive logos.  If you'd like more information about this see the report in Harvard Business Review here: "A Study of 597 Logos Shows Which Kind Is Most Effective."

Disclaimer:  Signs In 1 Day did not design the Chelsea Hearth logo, we only printed it and installed it on their trailer.  However we do enjoy designing descriptive logos, so let us know if you'd like to update yours!
